Guys just make one yourself, just get a 4S tap & 2 2S pig tails (the balancer end) and solder, it's not rocket science.

are there two versions of the buggy? A "sport" cheaper model, and a pro version?

Yes, the current one is the sport and there will be a pro soon. It will come with big bores and 7075 aluminum just like the pro zx-1r. Both Fusions do have a different driveline and have different shocktowers.

I won the b-main with one today at the hobby haven shootout and considering there were 21 entries and I had no practice and I haven't raced in over 2 years, I think I did remarkably well. Car handled like a dream after 2 heats of experimenting.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with the sports. People are starting to race with them and are knocking it out of the park. Amazing balance, Caster ease of driving, etc....

I won the sportsman b main out of 21 entries and I haven't touched a remote control in 3 years. My goal was to not dnf and not come in last place.....Guess I set my goals too low....

Nice job Mike! Also, Thanks for "pitting" me in the main. Had they not screwed up the start to both A mains I think we could have had good results their too. Cam was hot on Mack's tail most the time.

Anyway.... Congrats on winning the B. I think the Fusion EX-1 left a really good first impression with a lot of drivers.

The thing that is a big deal about me winning the b-main is that I have never driven a Caster before that day and I haven't touched a remote in over 2 years......

THAT speaks volumes about this car. Not like I was that great in the past anyways....

I would like to know how I would have faired against the a-main drivers. Are they going to post laps, etc.... anywhere like at iowarctracks.com? By the way, where are the youtube videos of the races?

I can't wait to see these out on the track! Personally I'll keep my Losi but I'd love to compete with some of these buggies

any dimensions on the battery trays? Need to know if the following will fit:

TrueRC 8000mah 15C Lipo 7.4V : 30mm x 45mm x 145mm

Anyone do a 6S setup yet?

Finally, any pics of a Mamba Monster Mounted?

I think you would have to blow out the back of the battery boxes to fit those packs. If the packs actually are 145mm, they won't fit the boxes. If you really wanted to run them in the car, I think it could be done with some modding of the boxes.

ROAR specs have a max dimension of 139mm and the Fusion boxes I think measure 140.5mm inside.

Camshaft has a Monster mounted in his, on the tray between the batteries. I have one with a Monster on the front tray on top of the servo. Don't have pics of either yet. Sorry Kick me, I fail!!

I really need to get some pics and info... I know!!!!! FAIL!!!!! LOL....

I have run a mild 6s setup on mine... with a pair of maxamps 3s 4000mah packs and a Medusa 1300kv motor.

main thing I want to see right now is the under chassis shot and some electronics mounting shots to get an idea of where things go. Lots of really good pics though of the other things. I really like how the prepainted bodies look.

Since it appears the batteries won't work, I think I may go with these:

Thunder Power TP5400-3SSRT Hard Case Car Pack In Stock $159.99
9/5/08
Sport Race Series
11.1V 5400mAh (3 cells) 20C/40C
Rating: 20C (108.0A) continuous, 40C (216.0A) burst
Dimension: 137mm x 47mm x 33mm
Weight: 223 grams
http://www.rclipos.com/TP5400-3SSRT.htm

or these:

Elite EL3S-4800 Li-Poly Battery In Stock $105.99
11.1V 4800mAh (3 cells) 25C/35C
Rating: 25C (120.0A) continuous, 35C (168.0A) burst
Dimension: 138mm x 45mm x 35mm
Weight: 425 grams

I am very curious though why the elites are so much heavier.

6S setup should give close runtimes to a 4S 8000mah setup.

the weight of the first pack doesn't look right. 223g is about what most 2s 5000mah hard cased packs weigh.
