I thought maybe the Common Sense Ultra Balancer could but there is no info on it for 10A charge. Does say 6S limit though... maybe I'm still LiPo stupid and not putting 2 and 2 together. http://www.commonsenserc.com/product...roducts_id=184

Sorry for sounding condesending, I don't buy cheap when it comes to balancers. Too much possibility for failure. Like lipo's, quality wise, you get what you pay for. I use the Hyperion LBA10 almost exclusively,
http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/?si...=chrg&scat=bal (top product, shows the LBA6 but its the LBA10). but it can charge at 10 amps. I used mine up to 8 amps and no heat. Like i said Buy cheap you might not be happy

Assuming you are looking for the balancer only, check out the TrakPower balancer, rated for 10 amps. $50

yeah, I use a mrc 989 & I need a balancer that can charge the cells at 10 amps & 6s so that I can charge my 2s 3p pack up in 15 minutes.

Wow, I've heard of 2C charging, but this might be just a bit much. Hope you have a good charge container, and are ready to buy a new pack.

A123 cells can be charged at a constant 4c rate for the entire charge duration. I plan on running a 6s 1p pack in a li//bl 1/8th scale. I should get right over 20 minutes of run time w/ the right motor choice & a 15 minute charge time.

Oh, that possiblity didn't occur to me. I'm not sure if the TrakPower balancer I mentioned would work on A123 cells. Perhaps you should edit your first post to include that.

The LBA10 can do A123 proper, not for sure of home made packs, but the A123 systems packs with proper adapter will work on the LBA10

lol, home made packs? How do you think 12 year old assemble packs in sweat shops? If you don't have a clue about how to make packs then just google how to make a123 packs.
