1/10th Stadium Truck Gearing Question
 

Ok, I have a T3, but am in need of some general gearing guidelines.

I am currently running the stock spur gear [87 teeth] and a 22 tooth pinion, which gives me a FDR of 9.49.

The motor is hitting 165-170 degrees [fahrenheight] which I think is a bit hot, since the Rooster ESC is hitting 130 as well... which I've never encountered before [but I was running this setup in a TC3 before too].

Any suggestions/guides to follow?
