Why did the OP remove his first post? This thread was actually a decent discussion about current 4wd buggies.

ROBBIE WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR BJ4? MAKING ALL THAT RACKET>?

It's called a stripped diff gear....... It may have been noisy but where did I finish??????? Yes I got lucky and 2 of the fast guys broke but that's why they call it racing. There's an old says that goes something like "I'd rather be lucky than good." If you would have taken your shaft drive car maybe you could have at least gotten to race.

Gears replaced now and it is nice and quiet again.

I still gotta say, the xx4s are just easy to drive fast. Jumps great and sweet in the bumps.
Didn't say you can't break em but throw it down and it NEVER handles poorly.
I was drivin a xxx4 and really, really liked it and it was even on a semi bumpy track but when I put my xx4 back down just for fun it was way easier to drive fast.
Like a 2 wheel drive with 4 wheel drive turning. I'm stickin with it and parts are available again/still.
If I drive smooth and don't crash hard it is the funnest car I've ever owned, that's over 20 years off and on. (more off but nonetheless 20 years)
