Arrow Vintage Schumacher cars

Hi guys,
I have the XLS CAT with updated parts from ProCat and BossCat. Wondering if some one else still have those vintage model cars on this forum.

I'm looking for other Schumacher fans, as I'm alone in my country, for exchange, meeting, race ....

Cheers
Stefano

Stefano,

I'm a Schumacher fan! I used to have a Fireblade EVO that I raced around 2000, but I sold it. It was all tricked out with every hopup made to include the viscous slipper clutch similar to the Losi Hydra Drive from way back in the day of the LXT. I wish I would have never sold it and now I'm looking to buy another. I can't find one and I've been looking for about a year.

I still have a XLS/Pro cat gathering dust.
Composite craft saddle pack chassis, schumacher super diff, alloy eccentric adjusters. Option house gold shocks on the front and Losi on the back.

All the pre 1990 goodness.

Great that I'm not the only fan on this planet,
do you guys have your own website with your models on it?
my website link is here

How about the fun, are they meetings and vintage races by your side?

to keep the cars alive, there is some spares needed, is there some one that still makes spare parts, I sow it on ebay once, spare parts on sale from a different producer like bodies and mechanical parts, do you know them?

Here in my country is hard to find spare parts and they are expensive.

Our off road nationals are next week and there is a demo "Vintage class" where I think it's pre 1992 vehicles only. Must take some pics, there's bound to be some classics tottering around.

My CAT isn't a runner although it would be easy enough to throw radio gear at it. I think I decommissioned it in good condition. Got a fair whack of parts as I had two of them at the time(an upgraded XLS/ProCat and a genuine ProCat)

I'm so sad....

I went through all the "discontinued parts" boxes and I've come up with about 60% of a Cat 3000, 2000. I've also got about 85% of a Fireblade Evo, but i cant come up with anything else out of the shop

Now if I can just find a Fireblade EVO I would be set.

My collection currently is:
CAT3k
CAT98 x3
CAT2kTC
BossCat
ProCat
CAT XLS (project, but have new body set, so it's getting there)

but strangely I haven't got a 2wd in there yet... working on it though !
Just got a nice custom painted body for my 3k, and it has all the goodies on it, so I think I'll have to race it until I can get an SX !!

Well, I sow some brand new front and rear wheels for the Cat 2000 (3-spoke white) on a hobby store here, but they are selling them on a high price. I just have the CAT XLS and those wheels do not fit on my car.

Default Cougar2000

I won our local club series with a Cougar 2000 Team car in 1997 if that makes sense. I loved that car, sold it though. About 3 years ago I bought a Fireblde EVO and raced it for a bit, and it had a ton of extra parts, including a clear Cougar body and enough extra bits to build a complete Cougar2000! Its all been sitting in a box since I got my B4.

I'm looking for one brand new unpainted U575 Body Moulding-ProCat kit, please let me know if you have one on sale, thanks

It's such fun drive my car with so much power and speed to the maximum speed!
Aktual CAT configuration, Sanyo Batteries Ni-Cd 2.4A with Orion gold contacts soldered by myself, ESC Tekin 410K digital, Motor Trinity King Kong 2 / 13 Turns / 49000 Rpm's.

I'm thinking to put more power on my car,
I sow there are brushless motors on the market, are they much more powerfull? Do they fit on vintage cat cars?

Well for sure on the brushless motors no maintenance needed, because no brush.

Thumbs up

My short wheelbase CAT project...

It's 100% original, 95% brand new and about 75% complete. I just acquired a big lot of new CAT and TopCat parts, including a coupe of new Composite Craft graphite chassis for the TopCat. If anyone has anything for the original CAT and would like to trade for TC parts, including a brand new TC body, I'm an avid collector and willing to deal.

My original TRC/Schumacher CAT XL...
