Default Shrinkage

Not in the Jerry "The water was cold" Seinfeld way.

How often do you install new tires? I put new bald pink Taper Pins on the front of my truck last week (clay track) and noticed they were at least .25" larger diameter then my rears. The rears (also bald pink tapers)date back to last year and have gone through 2-3 sets of inserts. Is this normal? I keep them sealed when not racing.

Don't put Losi pink tires in acetone either. A truck sized tire will shrink to a buggy sized tire with the quickness.

What he said

It also seems to suck the oil out of them and make them harder.

Okay, that helps a ton. I'd noticed they've lost some "tackiness" as well, so that explains the problem.

And it was George Costanza. I stand corrected!
