Without knowing your track, yeah, pink tapers are generally the right thing for a hard packed clay track. I believe I've even seen Mr. Cavalieri and others of AE use them. But have you experiemented with foams? Check around at your track, Trinity Bomb One firm foams are frequently used with this combo.

And yeah nail those triples! Good luck dude.

im running these extra jconcepts foams in the back as the people running the shop at my track recomended. then in the front, just the foams that came with my pink directionals.

everybody at trackside hobbies that knows what they're doing there run the pink tapers and directionals up front, and then shave them bald for traction.

like you were saying that my esc wouldn't need to be replaced because it aint very hot, what i might do is tune my motor for the track, i know somebody that could do it for me.

i guess you could say that, i might buy an ice charger for cheap from somebody and go lipo, im not sure yet.

as i recall, i dont think they're too much.....on ebay i found a great condition barely used ice with power supply wo i might think of gettin it.

i think trackside has one up on the for sale board

people as you can see, (dave h) stated that i can live with composite and then i might upgrade to lipo if i get the charger

personally i like the orion charger better but the ice is cheaper. I totally agree with the setup stuff,but seriously practice helps alot. either waqy the whole point of the hobby is just to have a good time with friends.
