BTW, this is version one of the car. There will be a single brick pack version for the guys who want that. But not until after this one is done....

Truggy is coming too

Man I can't wait to get this thing.... I hope it's all as good as it is in my imagination it's gonna be sweet I think

One of the cool things is the center diff mount is the split two-piece design, so the motor, esc, and diff all come out with just four screws at the center diff top brace and one more down by the motor. Just pull the rx plug and the whole assembly pops out of the car.

it's sleepytime for me
later

Very clean looking. Will this be a conversion kit for existing buggies (that one looks like an OCM or similar)? I would love to convert my Xray to that configuration.

It looks like a Caster Racing buggy to me.

It will really help if you can buy a ready made electric 1/8th buggy!!!

I think for the 1/8 buggies conversions are great since most are used to buying/installing a separate power package already. Either way, it's good to see more well thought out electric setups.

Anyway pics of this can be attached to the thread using the attachment option? Having issues with iphotobucket or whatever it is where the pics won't show up at all at times.

Is this what you were testing glass??

I'm guessing this won't be the only factory made electric 1/8 we see this year, but I think it will be the first on the market. Unless someones out there ready to drop a bombshell in the next few weeks ...

Mr. C actually made the first and absolutely awesome kit. I own one of his kits and it's fantastic. Plus I designed 3 1/8 scale chassis and I'm just waiting for Mike (rc-monster) to make them. The more the better though.
