Runs a HPI sprint buggy?

Just wondering!!! This buggy is a hit in Tokyo. I would like to know some feedbacks here in the U.S.

they are very similar to a kyosho 7.5 infact many of the parts are interchangable. I have heard mixed reviews on the buggy their are some weaker points but for the money it would be hard to beat.

ive seen a couple of them like kingzj said its a very close copy to the 7.5 which is a good thing

i know my local track director got one so that he could let some racers who dont have 1/8 try it out

it may end up being a worth while car but i always worry about buying something that isnt mainstream but if 7.5 parts are actually interchangable that is a big plus

It may not be mainstream, but most of the time hobby shops carry more HPI parts than Kyosho. Is there a pic of it without the body?

Hard to tell exactly what the buggy looks like, but it is obvious that HPI has released a Kanai 2

I have seen quite a few of them in my area. You guys are right it looks very close to my k2. The only problem I have seen with them is it is hard to get parts for. Its pretty bad hotbodies makes a ton of aftermarket parts for several cars but it seems almost impossible to get parts for there own car
