Brushless newbie question

I have a 1/10 off road truck that I am going to convert to brushless and I have a 12 turn double motor in it and I want a faster brushless motor and I'm not very knowledgeable on the brushless stuff so any help would be nice.
Thanks

My vote would be for a Castle Creations Mamba Max 5700 system.

well do you race it or bash it.....if you bash mamba max 5700 setup and if you race...10.5 novak gtb setup

10.5 is just slightly faster then a 19 turn try 6.5,7.5, or 8.5. I think 7.5 is what your looking for.

the novak 5.5 has a lot of push to it but your back end may be all over the place. possibly start out with a 6.5 and go from there. good luck.

bulldawg hit it right on. if it were me id go with the 6.5, very controllable, and have plenty of power to pull wheelies if you so choose. this is what i have in my truck, and have tried the 5.5 but it was better suited in my 4wheeler

I GEAR MY T4 AT 16 OR 17 WITH THE 86 SPUR, WITH THIS GEARING I CAN RUN THE WHOLE PACK IF I WANTED TO AND THE MOTOR COMES OFF AT 95-100 DEGREES AND THE ESC 100-115 THATS ONLY IF I RUN THE WHOLE PACK THOUGH

just be aware that bulldawg r/c has higher prices and poor advice.

I dont know about that- I would totally agree that a 5.5 is too much motor unless you are just doing speed runs up and down the street. 6.5 is a perfect motor for Mod Truck (may even be too much for some on dry/loose conditions).
