Default rc10t4 vs. xxx-t cr

i have a t4 right now and i was wondering which one is better on the track. im thinking about switching because it seem's to me that the losi's handle better. alot of people at my track say t4.

Its all in the set-up and the driver. T4 is good. Gotta put a lil effort in and try different things. I havent had time to mess with my t4 but soon ill work on dialing it in, ask chucky what he is running i am sure he will tell you.Should get you in the right direction, at the end of the day you should try different things so you know what you expect from your car/truck and what it needs.

Yes you will need to replace your tire and wheel sets that you have.

I have gotten plenty of backlash for saying this before but it is just my opinion. They are both equals! It all depends on setup and the driver. Given the opportunity to dial in the truck to their liking I would bet that any of the top pros would be equally as fast with either truck. They can both be setup to be very aggressive, or easy to drive. I had a T4 and sold it to buy the XXXT-CR because of the little things like the quick-change hubs, and the front and rear using the same wheels (big advantage when testing tire combinations). I struggled to get the CR to be as fast as the T4 at first, but after putting Chris Wolfson’s set in my truck it brought the CR to life and now I am faster with the CR then I ever was with the T4. Again, that’s probably because of the setup not the driver or truck. If you were planning on racing, I would go with what that majority of the drivers are using at your track most likely the T4. But in my opinion the CR is the better value. You know what they say about opinions though…..

I say stick with your t4 and keep learning to drive and learning how to set it up, believe me the learning never ends. You could switch trucks but its gonna cost a bit of money. Mike marshall gave great advice.

If you go Losi be prepared to rebuild diffs pretty consistantly. I've watched these trucks consistantly go down with all sorts of various problems. I don't think one truck is necessisarily better than the other in terms of which is faster since thats all on the driver/setup combo, but I do think the T4 is tougher more reliable truck.

I have owned both but only have a losi now. Both trucks hold up well no problems either.I just drive a losi better.

You can be fast with either truck but you have to setup right.I wouldn't get rid of the t4 unless everyone around you runs losi and there would be more help with the setups.
