Does the car spin out going into the corner or on power?

Seem weird that you are running the front softer then the rear. Try 35wt front, 30wt rear.

I would stand up the rear shocks. This should help with fwd bite.

Is it just me or does it seem wrong that the rear end is stiffer than the front?

Try running 35wt in the fron, 30 wt in the rear and the same spring front and rear (i.e. both silver, both yellow ... whatever) .... should give you a more stable base to work from.

Flipping the forward of the rear hinge pin braces over will reduce anti squat and make it a little more progressive durring the transission on and off power.

It's odd, I've got more rear bite than I know what to do with.......

AS Casper says, post your set-up in the RB5 thread and we'll do our best to help you.

What setup do the locals run at your track? I would start by looking for help locally, they would have a better idea where to start then we would.

There are 2 kyosho silver front springs ..... if you have the RB5 kit silver springs on teh front you have just found you problem .... #35 (I think) and are way to soft for just about everythimg!!

Normal Kyosho silvers (#70) are roughly ...

Rear Kyosho silver = Losi Pink

front Kyosho silver = about half way betwen a Losi Green and a Losi Blue.

On my RB5 I ran Losi greens on the front and Losi Pinks on the rear to start with ... now I run either Kyosho silver all round or Kyosho yellow all round.

To run the Losi springs on the front you need to swap the lower spring cups to Losi or else you'll never get the car low enough. At the rear you will need to run J Concpets off-set lower cups and either a spacer under the upper threaded adjuster or two adjusters back to back. I ran a cut down Losi sping clamp from pre threaded shocks under my upper adjusters.

I hope that helps.

W5194-01 shock plastic parts set comes with some other lower shock caps that might work with your losi springs. These come with the SP so if you know some that has that kit they may have kept there "extra parts" and may be able to hook you up if you need lower shock cups.
