savage 21?
 

Hello everybody
I am new to these toys so I ask advice from anybody and everybody.
I like the Savage 21 truck nitro 1/8 scale.
Good choice bad choice?
something similar for less?
where do I purchase this monster. local shop wants 400 plus uncle sam.
can anybody chime in?

I pondered the same q, and i ended up wanting the savage, but when i got to the shop it was sold out, so was every shop in town. i am impatient and went with the T-Maxx, and im glad i did
Turn OFFS
Savage:

1) Easly broken Dog bones
2) Slow as can be
3) Heard the Steering servo is to weak

Maxx:

1) i never got the 2.5 engine to work (airleak, got a Sirio TX-18)
2) dislike the radio gear


other than that. those are what i see. both trucks are about the same. the T-Maxx is the fastest stock MT avalible. Either way you go, it will be fun. they are about the same reliablitly, parts avail. hop-ups etc. Go for what u like and be happy with it
