1/10 scale is about as small as you can get without things being too small and a pain to work on imo

anything from associated or losi will be a pretty good choice
B4, T4, XXX-cr, XXX-cr-t

there are more budget minded choices as well, but you can't go wrong with those

will you be racing? if so.. were? If you are racing I would get what the faster racers are running so you can pick there brains for setup help if needed.

I personally prefer the T4.. a Associated and Losi both will be great trucks. Some just have driving preferences.

hey i rang round all our hobby shops and none of them stock or order team associated rc18mt. but they have mini baja from losi in. i read and heard they have lots of problems with the radio and electronics. my budget is about $300-$400. the bajas here are $250. can u replace the electronics in the baja for a small price is it it worth hundreds? and what would i need to replace?.

As mentioned go with a 1/10 scale and if racing Losi and Associated make good products .

I would pick up one of the hpi e-firestorms, a lipo, & a power suply. You can find the e-firestorms for like $200 rtr & they are durable trucks. Then you should be able to find a lipo & a lipo charger & a low voltage cut off for $200.

well i went today and bought a truck its a mini Baja. im quite pleased with it. it runs really hard and fast for stock. but i had a problem with it. the first battery had about 7-8 minutes run then it wouldn't move i gave it a little push to get it going then it just wouldn't keep it going. the esc was flashing red. does that mean flat batt? its on charge now im getting it off in 1 hour and trying it again. any suggestion will be most greatly appreciated.
Troy.
