I am wondering if you can tell me the benifits to moving up to the UR as I am currently using the Mars R. I will be installing the Pro Spekrum system soon once I get the answers I am looking for. Since I am upgrading to the Spektum system is there any benifit to changing to the UR? If so I will be looking for this radio but if there is no real benifit over the Mars R once the Spektum is installed then I will just stick with what I have.

Thanks
Sean

Radios need recalibrated over time so i'm sure you would notice some sort of difference in response time and i'm there are added features on the UR that the Mars R didn't have

Details please.

Mars R is able to do everything to my knowledge. So I am not sure what more there would be to do.

Frame rate? Latency time difference? before Spektrum? as Pro Spektrum adds 3ms to the radios latency time.

These are the answers I am looking for, I am thinking there will be nothing all that different that justifies spending over $200 on this new transmitter over just adding the Spektrum modual to my existing Mars R.

Thanks for the help and info.
Sean

Hi everyone. I just got started in the 1/10 scale and am new to the forum. This is a great site and I'm learning a lot from it.

Back to the topic of the EX-1UR. I have one that I use for my Mini-Z, and have recently installed the drop down wheel for it. I took a closer look at its internal wheel mechanism while I was at it. Here are a few pics.

Anybody can confirm that the module port and pin configuration on the
Helios/Z-1 is identical to the EX-1? I'm looking to use the Z-1
synthesized setup in the EX-1 UR. Thanks.
