Thanks for the updates Robert. Keep the pictures coming too...I think we all love those. I really wish I could have been there. It's been a dream of mine to race at Yatabe since I saw the coverage of MF World's victory there in '95. Any chance of getting some video up on YouTube?

Day 2 now underway, with 18 heats of 4WD each round.


4WD Concours judging earlier this morning.


After winning his round 4 heat against Ryan and Masami, Hayato Matsuzaki takes over the overall lead.

Lunch is served - Japanese box lunches and corn dogs.


Freshly made bowls of noodle soup.


Now legal for use in Japan, 2.4Ghz systems are quickly gaining popularity. Masami testing KO's new system.


With an almost perfect score, Hayato is on fire this weekend.
