What would I need to adapt this to my currently charger / balancer? Its a hyperion charger with a built in balancer, and the tap is setup for the smc 4000 hardcase.

Default Max Amps Hard case

The one good thing I can say about Max Amps is everytime a battery takes a crap they replace it free of charge, On my 3rd pack in 3 months. Yes they are well taken care of too.

I talked with one of the Techs over at Max Amps and heard that they have submitted two different hard case saddle packs to Roar for approval and both were rejected. the second one they submitted, from what they told me was denied because it was .1 mm to wide.

Just thought I would share the info.

So how did the Trak powers get approved. Arent they way to tall? Not calling you a liar What Up, just sounds strange. I just went and checked. max is 25.1mm and they come in at 40mm

There are no dimensional rules for saddle pack batteries yet, so that is how the Trakpower got approved. Doesn't make much sense to me.....

I've heard they have great customer service (just like Novak). I still say, the best customer service is the type you never have to use. I've worked with Orion and they have great customer service too (had a winding come loose on a BL motor).

I am sure there is a lot going on we dont know about. Just want to make sure you guys know, i dont question what anybody is saying on here. More questioning the whole process. I just wish they would figure it out so some bigger names will come to the game. Last i heard Reedy and Orion were waiting becasue they did not want to build packs that could not be approved.

I wish they would figure it out too. Last time I checked almost all 4wd buggies are going to a saddle pack configuration.

The Trakpower 3200's are much smaller in height and even dropped right in to a xx4 from what my customer told me.

If any of my batts were taking a crap that often, I wouldn't be using that brand/model anymore. 3 packs in 3 months is an absurdly bad failure rate for a battery pack IMO.

Honestly I wouldn't hesitate to get the Trakpower Lipos, they really are nice. Got mine from Bulldog RC and my trays from Diggity (for my B44) and it couldn't be easier.

I totally agree but until someone else comes out with a Roar approved hard case saddle pack other then Trak power's I 'm not buying any more. Especially since they keep sending me a new one everytime it goes bad at no cost to me.
