Default Exceed RC, $90 for RTR???

Been out of the game for awhile, never heard of Exceed. Are these any good? Some of the buggies look great, they seem to have not bad of a race record. Does any one own one of these cars and how does it handle?

Not to sound like a wise guy or anything, but does a RTR for $90 sound right to you?

You get what you pay for and the majority of the rtr kits are just over $200.

I would have to say no on this one.

Default don't count it out yet

i have a few exceed vehicles including a buggy. the stock esc is good, but only if kept cool. i added a ducted fan, and there were no more troubles. since then i've upgraded it to brushless, a mamba 6900. it rocks! the key is in the cooling. these vehicles can take a serious beating. the stock exceed can motor can reach speeds of the mid twenties with a li-po esc. i added 8th scale shocks to my buggy, and used screws in the a-arm holes to adjust ride height.tomorrow my drift tires arrive, fun!! one exceed truch can be modified into a buggy, or car. the online parts prices are great. go to redcat racing for bodies. these vehicles are low enough in cost that you can get two and have all the parts you may need. my first exceed truck has been run and crashed hard, so far only a bent axle. here are some pics. the black windshield is a filter. the buggy has a 40edf fan, the truck has a 400
