Default M4D: new conversion kit based on B44

Martial, a friend of mine, is proud to announce the first release of the M4D.

His conversion kit was initialy based on the BJ4WE. During last december, he worked hard to release the conversion kit based on B44 donor.

Please, have a look on the following pics: here

His website is in french but please, let me know if you would like further informations, I will do my best

Wow thats quite a beautiful buggy. The front shock tower and the skinny body kinda makes it look like the Atomic Carbon S4 with the body on

Very nice.

So what does it have to offer? What does it improve from the B44?

The BJ4 offered us a 4WD AE based platform.

The B44 offered us a lower cost 4WD platform, with parts distribution that makes it easier for the racer to obtain parts.

Thicker shock towers really doesn't make it that unique especially if they don't offer a different/better shock mounting position that improves handling...

And a more narrow chassis just creates a tighter space to mount electronics on. If "center mass" is the goal, simply mounting packs closer to the centerline on the B44 can already be done....

@stickman310:
Yes, the car looks like a S4 but the chassis concept is rather classic with upper decks. He makes upper decks a bit narrower than B44 parts in order to have a more flexable chassis....
Martial has already planed to design a new body shell with more aggressive lines

@bushyar15:
I think it offer first of all, a way to "think different"
Thank to the benefit of a well distributed donor, the spare parts will be of course well distributed.
Martial's goal was to concentrate weight distribution around the center of the chassis, not only around the center line. It's quite well perfect indeed with 5cells

When the car rolls in the turns its roll force will actually increase if there is more weight spread to the outskirts of the chasis.

I like it out of the box stock, no sense making it all carbon fiber.
Unless you have to be a bad driver and need an edge that bad.
It's just uneccessary in my opinon.

You mean.......like it already is? Is there a B44 plastic tub version I'm not aware of? Perhaps you could expound on this. Your posts are very humorous. I need more.
