Default B44 Chassis..

I've been thinking about making a new chassis for my B44 that will relocate the motor to the left side battery area, my plan was to just rotate the center gear mounts/motor mount 180 degrees. The spur gear would end up in the same place but the motor mount would be in the back rather than the front and the motor would end up in the battery location. Why do this? Well just for fun and it's very easy for me because I have all the machine tools to do it(milling machine). I was planing on a .200 thick 6061 aluminium for the chassis because I have a bunch on hand. I've seen the bj4 rear motor/stick pack set up and I don't like that because it sucks to change spur gears. It's winter in my area and we have 18" of snow on the ground so I'm just looking for something to do to the buggy. What are everyone's thought's on this idea, thanks for the input......BB

you will need to fit your diff's in the car the other way round else your car will run backwards.

I think there is a notch in the cases that you can remove to do this, but please check first.

I'm going to run the motor the other direction so it shouldn't be an issue but thanks for the response......BB
