Apologies for resurrecting an old thread. Been doing some speedo research for the next upgrade and am liking the looks of the Speed Passion GT. Would anyone able to shed some light on the following:

Will the Speed Passion GT 1.1 fit in a standard XXX-CR? From what I can tell, the heatsink is now substantially taller.

Is this picture an accurate representation of what is included with the GT / LPF GT? Specifically, does it come with the 4-cell capacitor?

Final question - for 10.5/13.5/17.5 BL offroad stock, is there any performance difference between the GT and LPF GT? Am I right to assume the LPF runs hotter due to the smaller heatsink and fewer FETS?

i run 1.1 and it fits fine with out the fan.........
it does come with the big cap.........it kinda put space at a premium but all fits
lpf should not run hot enough to need the fan and performance will not be a huge difference

Has anyone try placing the fan on the side of the speedo or close and is it as effective as placing on top?

Thanks for confirming. Am I right to assume you're using a standard XXX-CR body?

Any chance of posting a photo of how you have your electronics laid out? I'd be interested to see how it all fits.
