get a orion 6.5 vortex, plenty fast for that size track. very reliable motors too.http://www.teamorion.com/Products/Motors/Brushless

7.5 is more than enough.

7.5 should be more than ample, it will get you out of corners a lot quicker because you will be actually putting the power down.

Have a look at the worlds recently held in Japan and a lot of the drivers were running 7.5 equivalents

have a look at getting the optional sintered rotor and fitting it to your 7.5, you will notice a massive performance increase!

what gearing are you running? I would look at running something like 17/81 or 16/78 (for standard 7.5 with bonded rotor)

if you put the sintered in, gear up 2 teeth on my recomendation

I run on a small track with a 60 foot straight (indoor). I have been running the VEctor 6.5--with sintered rotor in my BJ4 WE. I think its just about perfect for the track size. Its worth getting the sintered rotor--better brakes and a bit more low end torque with similar top end. 7.5 would be a good choice as well. Many of the guys in 4wd run Orion or NOvak 7.5 motors.

I run a 7.5 in my ZX5 at my track. We have a long back straight and it is plenty of motor. I think you will be fine with a 7.5.

I run a non sintered 6.5 with LiPo on a track about that size. It's a little too much. I will be dropping to a 7.5 when I get the chance.
