Questions?? Team Checkpoint Tebo Edition 9T Off-Road 4WD Motor

this is the motor that i am going to get because i feel that it is the best suet for what i will be doing.

i want to know what you think about the motor

do the brushes go bad fast?

do the sprinks go bad fast?

what are its weaknesses and strengths

I would just pick up a bl unit. You can pretty much program a bl to do anything a brushed motor does.

well if you decide not to go brushless team checkpoint is the best choice. I have heard of them going some odd 50 runs before needing a rebuild. Granetd the 9 turn edition may need a tad more maintenance than that but they are great on power and reliability. Only thing is at 10 bucks a pair for brushes they are a little pricey.

i run a checkpoint 10d in my 4wd i cut it every 2 race days just to be nice to it and i rebrush it every 4-5 race days. that would be somewhere around 35 runs and i rebrush just because i have it out of my car
