Dont discharge nimh cells prior to storing. If it is a week you can run then store then discharge on the next race day. If your going to store longer top them off. The IR on these cells is very low and they have a hard shelf discharge after a week or so.

Nickle Hydride (NiMH) batteries dont require a discharge to store them for a week. its fine to keep them for that long.

The best practice is to always stor them with charge in them. I race weekley and and just store them after a 6 minute run. You do not need to discharge them like we had to do with the old Nicd as they dont develop a memeory.
