I had a bad cell in one of my packs and it caused my 570 to stutter. Though I'm sure it was my pack at the time, I do recommend the latest software.

I would take a look at your batteries, bad batteries are probably the number one cause of stuttering in our systems. The software you are running should be fine. I ran the beta version for over a month before we released it to the public and never experienced a single cogging issue. Check your batteries first and if that doesn't fix it, then try hardwiring your motor wires. Good chance one of these things is whats causing your issue. Wouldnt hurt to update your software when you get a chance, but it shouldnt cause you any issues if you are unable to do it.

Okay, I got it working... it was the radio/receiver. I switched it with my son's Traxxas Rustler radio and it works great. We put the Futaba in his and it works just as well. So, until we can upgrade to a 2.4ghz, we'll have this setup.

All of you, thank you for your help and the advice. I am really pleased right now. We're charging our batteries and getting ready to head to the track. We'll see how much stuff I will break today. The next thing I need to figure out is the wheelie problem! How cow, even with the 12T it's super fast and the low end is unbelievable. I'm going to have to adjust everything a little slower again. :-) I can't believe I just said that. Time to go drive the Ferrari through the neighborhood at full speed!

I have use my mamba max for 3 month or so,
Today I hook the mamba with my laptop, the red and pale green leds was bleeping, no sound of beep or anything.
everything its ok, I can change settings and updates on it.
as I remember it play some tone when it connected with pc.

Can someone clarify that mamba does play sounds when hook up with castle link?

My Maxx only sounds tones when powered by battery to let you know it's initializing. Does not make a sound when connected via USB to PC. I would say it is working perfect. Have fun!

My son and I both have been running a Mamba Max system for about 1.5 yrs. In that thime we have had to return 3 ESC for repair or replacement. One was totally due to human error the other two just failed. Castle replaced hem all. The first two were replaced in reasonable time the last one really had me upset. It took over two months to get replaced. The issues with the Monster Mamba Max really screwed up Castle.

I have to say that I have not been all that impressed with the Mamba Max that I own. However, as I read these forums I gathered more people have had good experiences than bad.

I use Novak's brushless on my Superten. When I bought a T4 it seemed as if the majority of the guys were using Castle in the off-roads. When I received my MM it would not connect to the Castle link. I decided to install it and just run with it--almost immediately it came apart.

I will not bore you with all the over heating issues for those are probably my fault. The last time the ESC came apart it was to my surprise that one of the components on the PCB had a broken lead. I just super glued the stupid thing back together and amazingly it worked .

Castle's Mamba Max is a bit cheaper than the leading competition and obviously honor their warranty. I wonder if they are making money off these things. I do not believe the quality is there but they are not charging for it either.
