Exclamation Nice new 1/10 truck suggest worthwhile upgrades

just got a new rc truck as in my avatar. its got a 540 motor and is runing off a fairly low powered stock battery.

(RS540 motor & HSP 3018 precision ESC) if anyone could suggest useful power upgrades please do. i have already considered putting an orion 17 SV2 Pro in as the motor but any other suggestions will be appreciated.

i think the best thing to up grade is the motor. if your just bashing in your back yard then i would go with the novak brushless system. they are very fast a durable.

I cant tell what truck you bought. Either way I would tell any one with any truck the same thing.

If you want the fastest upgrades buy a Brushless system with esc and a lipo battery.

If you want to stay brushed, buy a good ESC a good motor and a Lipo battery.

Its kind of simple.

If your looking to do one thing now and another thing later. Upgrade the ESC first, because with out it you cant run a motor much faster than what your truck came with. (Assuming its a RTR)

^^ a better esc will get you more power and runtime, also handle better motors when you are ready to upgrade

The novak brushless GTB and SS13.5 Stock Pro Motor is about 250 usd. So around that price. That system is a real decent brushless set up. Is it for racing or bashing?

If your just bashing around you could check out the Mamba Max systems. They are on the cheap side but definately do not lack power.
