With the plate installed there is enough bow in my XXXT-CR battery strap to make me a bit uncomfortable. I'm going to see if I can fudge another solution - may my neighbor can machine a mm off (better to add a little more weight than none at all). Or maybe check the Orion LiPos for a better fit. Using the plate definately removes the option of moving the battery way back.

For anyone who wasted their money on these, you can always try Lipo Lead. When you order they throw in a bunch of extra little end cuts or half sheets, whatever they have at the time thats not saleable.

That's not really fair. I have probably sold a hundred of them and you are the first to complain. Sorry they do not work for you but you don't have to be a baby about it. They work for everyone else (and there are some pretty high profile drivers using them). I am sure you won't have a problem selling it.

Please tell me where I trashed the actual product? And then please tell me for those who bought these and CANNOT USE THEM, how is that not money wasted? So if I cant use it and just leave it on the desk and stare it, would it be money well spent then? You're trying to create something when theres nothing there. Did I say the plate was a piece of junk? No.

You have a way with words.......a BAD way.
You post does nothing to explain what the issue is, there is no useful information in it.

I think you mean YOUR post, and I explain in detail exactly what the problems are in the CR thread. Feel free to go there and check it out. You're quite the wordsmith as well.

My plate fits perfect oin my XXXT CR truck. I can move it up or back for weight balance and it fits great with the Orion 3200 and 3600 lipo. I did not have to modify anything.

Thanks Johnny.

I'm sure it fits fine with a 3200 or 3600, but just like I wrote in the CR thread it absolutely does not fit with a Trakpower 4900 without breaking out the Dremel.

I didn't know you could even get a CR on the track without breaking out the dremel.

(J/K!!!!! Couldn't resist. The CR is a great car, I/m just really sarcastic sometimes.)

BTW - I have one of Johnny's plates and they are hella nice. Thanks again John.

Well I have the lipo plate fitting in my GV2. I used the Dremel for about 1 minute and rasied the mount above my servo 2mm and it fits like a glove.

If guys are bitching and they have the same amount of work as I put into making my lipo plate work I feel bad.................because it took a whole 10 minutes to make it fit. If it fits in my GV2 which is based of a Losi I doubt it takes anymore work to make the lipo plate fit. Oh and I use the Trakpower lipo.

If you use the Reedy, Orion Graphite covered lipo or Max Amps 5000 lipo it should be direct fits. If you use the Orion 4800 or Trakpower 4900 you will need about 10 minutes of extra time and a Dremel. Very easy mod.

This thread is getting to be the norm. Something don't work right, first thing to do is go right to the computer, go to a forum and complain!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta love the computer and internet.

Thanks for taking the time to have these made. Its ashame you try to help people out and this is what you get in return.
