LRP Shpere Competition TC Spec on off froad cars??

Do you think it would be bad to use the TC spec on off road cars? It has teh fan already so what do you guys think?

You wont need the fan unless you plan on running motors below 6.5. The Fan doesnt fit very well in many off road cars.

i believe chad due used it in truck and b44, and cavaleri ran it in his truck already...

Works great and fits just fine with the fan. And runs super cool.

I run it in a BJ4 with the fan and a 5.5 and also in an RB5 without the fan and a 6.5. Performs perfect in both vehicles with no issues whatsoever!

I've only heard stellar things about the "TC" spec Sphere....I have a "Comp07" right now in my B4...but if a TC came along for the right price...I've seriously thought about picking one up for my B4

wallyedmonds 12-24-2007 07:11 PM

i only have the comp07 (3 of them) one in my RB-5 one in my GEN-X and i love them.
but ya if the price where the same go for it.

Ok well sounds as if it wont hurt it at all. Thats what I am going for. So for sure its not gonna hurt lol?

mafiaracers 12-26-2007 08:14 AM

why would it "hurt?" it's a higher tier ESC...why wouldn't you?

C_Money 12-26-2007 08:29 AM

save your money...

don`t need the heat sink or fan..

Tc ESC for 4W , you already have the best for 2w..

JoshR 85 12-26-2007 09:31 PM

the only reason you would need a heatsink, or a fan on your esc is if youre racing outdoors in like 90+ degree weather...

just my $0.02

mafiaracers 12-27-2007 01:14 AM

mine came with a heat sink and fan....i took it all off because it added weight and bulk to the chassis. we'll see...if one came along at the right price and I were able to sell my current one...then ya never know, but i'm in no hurry to get a new ESC...I love mine.

C_Money 12-27-2007 11:28 PM

just ordered 2 tc specs, I am sure I will love them racing in arizona and all.
