Default Sphere/10.5 problem

hi,
hooked up my new sphere/10.5 vortex combo today, but im having a problem. The motor makes a squealing sound when plugged in. The motor sounds like it wants to spin, but it wont. I programmed the esc, have my tx set to factory. Im stumped. Im gonna try a fresh pack and see where that takes me. Any ideas?
Thankks

Do you have the sensor wire installed correctly and plugged in all the way?

Another tip for the Orion Vortex motors is to make sure that the motor screws are not too long!! Otherwise they will make contact with the internal fan in the motor.
