I'll be up soon to try out the wheeler. I gotta remember to pull the batteries out of the flashlights before I come up though. It's gonna be weird not runnin' nitro, lol.

i've stayed at the days inn, the holiday inn express, the motel 6, and the lazy h which is pretty much right across the street from the track.

motel 6 is cheap but has crunchy carpet which is scary, at least it did in the room i stayed in. the lazy h is alright, it's one of those single story motel's but it's not too bad. i've stayed there the last couple of years. the days inn and holiday inn are what you'd normally expect from the two hotels and they both have continental breakfast where the other ones don't.

there's also a ramada, best western, and some other smaller hotels around there.

i'm going to get a reservation at the days inn this year. can't really go wrong with it.

Yes

From the Enid site:

Lipo Batteries will be legal to run, with the following rules for all club and event races.

SAFETY FIRST, if you are unsure, then assume that it won't work and don't try it. Meaning if you do not have the equipment to run Lipos then you should not attempt to use one. Educate yourself first and then you will be safer for yourself and everyone else.

Rules:

HARD CASE LIPO BATTERIES ONLY.

7.4 volts only

Batteries must be charged in protective sack. (respect the pit person next to you and be safe) It is best to charge lipos before you come to the track.

Chargers must have Lipo cutoff protection and equalizer capability is recommended.

All classes must make weight. As follows:

Buggy - 1499g
4WD Buggy - 1613g
Trucks - 60oz
Sedans - 1525g
EDM(Oval) - 52oz

The 13.5 is also legal for stock classes.
