how long before AE comes out with new kits?

I don't know what Associated's life cycle is for a kit (6, 7 years?), but any good company is not going to wait until they are getting beat to release a new one. As soon as they start getting beat, they start losing market share. They (Associated) probably already know when the next kit is going to be released albeit maybe 2 or 3 years down the road. Ideally they will release a new car while the B4 is still dominant so they can continue their winning with an even better kit. My .02

I think that if they were going to release an update to the B4, it'll be around the time of the '09 World Champs. They are being held in the US and AE will want to dominate more than ever. Still, how good would it be to see the B4 win at the next WC?

Chris,
Why Are you giving up on the Kyosho? Thought you dug that car?
As for AE, Its like everyone has said. AE will make subtle changes, perhaps slight changes to geometry but they have been refining products for YEARS.

Why not just updated b4 and t4 kits instead of new ones?? we all know they are extremely fast the way they are but offer them with all the updated goodies now available.
t4- Quickchange hubs, gt2 front arms, gt2 castor blocks, gt2 steering blocks, and b44 rear hubs with the bigger outer bearings!!!
b4- Gt2 castor blocks, b44 rear hubs with the bigger bearings and updated steering arms to be tougher
I already switched all this stuff on mine and they all work great!!!
its the b4 and t4 ft2's

There are various diff greases available from Kyosho ....
The spider performs best on smooth surfaces ..
Then bumpier it gets, the ball diff has quite a advantage in traction & staight acceleration....
