You are a cheapskate and thats not funny considering you can buy a B44 for about 309.00 if you look around.

I don't think they would make a pure graphite and aluminum car into an RTR. They would have to re-tool for a molded composite stick pack chassis for the RTR version. I don't think they would want to go through the trouble for something that will still get outsold by most of their other RTR vehicles.

I would have to say no.

It is to high end of a buggy to make it affordable in a RTR package. The saddle pack battery is not a big deal, but they would more than likely have to include a battery with the RTR kit bumping the price even higher, and I dont see them re-designing something for a stick pack, especially when it is so new, and so much work went into a car they have just came out with.

You can buy a RTR Kyosho lazer zx-5 for $210 at amain hobbies. How can you take a $310 kit add all of the electronics, plus the cost of having someone build it, and keep it in that price range, with out making it a cheap POS. (Kind of like why they dont make a V6 Corvette)

If your someone who is in the league of racing, carbon fiber RC 4wd cars, you should be able to build the car your self, because more than likely you will have to replace parts when they wear out and break, and when you need to tune the car for your track. You also should be prepared to shell out the couple of extra bucks to buy a very good piece of equiptment.

Not directed at anyone at all - just my opinion.

I don't think they would have to make a composite chassis, just use FRP in sufficient thickness. That is one of the differences between the SBV2 Sport and the SBV2 Pro.

use the cheapy blue shocks, and use lower cost options at other ends and your set. True, saddle packs are the issue, but, it is possible. And who knows, they could work with reedy to make some packs that work.

I would say if 4wd electric went nuts, its a possiblity. Never say never (ala AEs response to making a 4wd buggy in the first place).

My first ZX5 was the RTR because I was just going to play around a little at the track, not seriously race it. I dropped a 19t and a Novak GTS in it along with my radio. Filled the shocks with 35wt and put on holeshots all around. The car worked great and I know I was running close lap times to what I am with my Team car now. There really is almost no difference other than the composite the chassis and suspension is made of, front universals, and the aluminum shocks. The RTR really is a great car for anyone.

If they did though, I wouldn't be surprised if they made some cheapo brushless setup with a lrp ai bl esc and the eraser brushless motors.
