Iam looking for anybody else that runs a Sportwerks Raven BX & ST to share there photos, setups, tips/tricks in racing competion.

Heres my Sportwerks Raven BX! It runs in ROAR 2WD STOCK Buggy. It has a Fantom Racing Motors 27T Rebuildable Stock motor, Racers Edge 3600 Stick pack, the stock ESC is junk so i have to buy a new one, and the rest is STOCK. Its basically a "cheap" way to get into Electric Off Road racing. So far i have about $295 in this car and thats counting $202 of that is the price of the buggy.

Yes that was RTR! I know it sounds kinda cheap, but the Sportwerks Raven series of vehicles can be good cars in racing competion! And they cost low enough that anybody can afford to race nowdays>

How do you feel it compares to the B4 RTR that goes for about $220?

There will NEVER be a 2WD buggy as good as the B4! But for a person just getting into RC Racing, and dont want to buy a "Race" vehicle, i say the Sportwerks is the perfect car to learn on! It handles good, and flies threw the air good, but its not as good as the B4.

not so sure I would say that. Some nice offerings out there with the RB5 and the GV2.

Thats cool though your raven is working out for you. Seen them pretty cheap on ebay, was curious if they were any good.

I think the B4 is the best 2WD buggy! But i havnt test drove the RB5 or the GV2, so those might be as good! Ya, the Sportwerks Raven BX is working out great! Iam getting it ready for the Alpha Cup at my local track and hopefully take the 2WD STOCK BUGGY Championship this year! Iam here to prove that imported cars CAN compete with the B4, Kyosho, Losi cars!!!
