Default RB5 shock's, need help

As you may have guessed I have an RB5 and I keep on breaking the composite shock caps. I was wondering if anybody makes an aluminum cap for these shocks?? If not, would the losi shocks from the XXX CR fit (I think the front shocks may be too long)??

how are you breaking them? I don't have so much as a scratch on mine...I didn't think it was a part that broke!

I've broken a few of them on the 2wd. The funny thing is that I've only ever broken two of them in two years on the Lazer.

That's about the only think I ever break regularly on the 2wd. They look siimilar to HPI/Tamiya upper mounts, the Tamiya eyelets are really stout, same for the HPI stuff. One of them may fit.

Ok...maybe not so lucky...LOL

It's just been kinda weird that I hardly ever broke that same exact part in a couple years with my ZX-5, but I've probably broken 6 of them in a couple months with the RB-5. It takes a BIG impact to break one on the Lazer...notsomuch on the RB-5. LOL

If anything, I would expect that the Lazer would kill them more, because the shocks are more exposed it goes faster...and I do more stupid stuff with it.
