Not to take this thread any more off-topic, but a hunk of wire doesn't have impedance. It may have resistance, but not impedence.

Impedance is the "resistance equivalence" (my term) that a coil has at a given frequency.

Just thought I would clear that up.

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled banter.

Call them again. I called on the 26th. So the month they told you is now down to three weeks.

I dont work there or know anyone there, I was just sharing my conversation.

I just ordered the 4400's from MaxAmp yesterday 11-27, and Josh from Max Amps called me today because there next and last shipment of 4400's are scheduled for the 10th of December, I asked them about the new packs and they said first week of January they should be getting the 4500's, I'm going to wait. no rush for me. From what he said they are 2500 cells instead of 1100. same size too.

If my math is correct the 2500 mah cells times 2 would be 5000 mahs and not 4500???

I wonder if the bigger pack will be 7500 mahs?? Now I got to have one of those for 20 minute action!!!!

since my b44 is already spaced for the higher 5500mah pack I would definetly consider doing a 2s3p with the newer cells. longer runtime and the pack would probably be close to the weight of a standard nimh.

Think I found a mistake in the tuning part of manual?
It says use softer spring in front if you move shock in on front arm!!!!!!!!!!
That,s ass backwards,u would need to use stiffer spring.

I didnt understand myself why he kept saying 4500's but he probly ment 5000.

I asked him for his what he would suggest and he said he would wait for the new cells because they will give a longer run time and they should be cheaper $$$$$.

We will see.

Very curious to see how the pricing will be as it appears overall maxamps prices on packs appear to be marching upward, not downward. The whole discount if you member doesn't mean much if the packs now cost about the same with the discount as they did not too long ago without.

true but I think they are starting to make better packs to justify the price increase. example, the price went up when they added the copper taps but the packs perform better because of it.

true, main thing I am curious about is what exactly are the cells in the packs. Mind you I love my 6000mah 4S pack, but from what people have been saying they won't reveal what exactly are the cells they are using. Maybe the increase in price is also for better cells? would be cool if they said what they were.
