Another great day racing at NorCal. The NorCal crew does a great job putting on a race-day. Friendly environment, motivated staff — loads of help in the hobby dept., solid race direction (knowledgeable, humorous announcing), speedy program -- plus, a very fun bunch of racers.

Fun, the way RC Racing should be. Loads of new faces, I have been meeting gobs of great new friends.

Slash and 1/8th electric RULE!!!!!!

Bravo: Kevin, Eric, Gary and Hicks

Biner, please stop before you even get started.

I must add to Rich Brown he's right this place rocks. Rich is testing the new Empire Racing off road conversion kit for the Kyosho. The conversion kit is gonna be awesome, when all is said and done. Each and everytime Scott Kimbrow went out the adjustments kept getting better and better. Watch out for Kimbrow it's gonna be a matter of time. He's not just an awesome on- road racer but will be equally awesome at off-road.

Everyweek the facilty gets better and more racers are showing up. 1/8th electric is a blast to watch. These cars are fast.

In the upcoming weeks two new tracks will be built. A 1/8th scale off road track and a 1/10th scale off road track. The tracks will be back to back and from what I've heard will be AWESOME. I've heard Jelich is going to be taking a week off of work (vacation time) to build these tracks.

Plus in March they are holding a Slash enduro. The top three teams will be winning all the money from the entry fee.

How long is the downtime on the offroad track to make way for the new setup? I should have my 8ight-E up and running in a few weeks and want to try it out at Norcal.

Not sure exactly. I think it will take Kevin around 5-7 days to build the new track. I believe he is starting next Sunday....but I'm not 100% sure.
