Call the track and talk to the race director, Kathy. She'll find a class for you.

I'm going to come out for the first time this weekend

any special things I should bring that may not be obvious to a rookie racer?

I'm going to bring

the car
tools
charger

do I need to round up
extension cord?
chair of some sort?

I was thinking of just running rookie/novice class, maybe second time around I'll try stock depending on how the first outing goes

how long is the day too? if it starts at 10:30 when does it usually end?

Who is down for a butt kicking this Saturday in 2wd and 4wd? The local legend will make an appearance to put you all in your place.

The track got a layout change about a month ago. Yesterday, the track crew extended the jump landing for "candy mountain" and elevated the lip of the take off jump on the triple . The track crew is going to add carpet today to some of the jump landings to add durabiltity and consistency.

New track setup is dialed. This weekend was a blast. BK Bars red in the rear and Losi Taper pins silver in the front work great. Some guys are running bald tires.
