boiling parts?
 
how long should i boil them? (plastic parts)

i used to boil plastic , dont boil carbon/graphite , for about 7 minutes , it seems to work , i dont crash as much now so i stopped , hope this helps , ray

Are you talking about changing the color of the plastic by boiling? If so what should you use?

No he is talking about boiling the parts to strengthen them.

in theory , it makes plastic parts more flexable , and less pron to breakage , and yes just run cold water into the pan till they cool , ray

You don't really "boil" the parts. You boil the water, then put the parts in and let them soak until it's cool.

It works great on nylon-type parts. It adds just a little bit of give.
