Default ONE WAY, SPOOL, OR DIFF WHICH IS BETTER ?

Hey guy's I'm running 4wd drive and was wondering which is an all around better performer, the oneway, spool, or diff. I run on a moist dirt track.

I'm running a zx5, and want to know in comparison to all 4wd's what is the best front end set-up.

Try both, Use what your comfortable/consistent with.

Too many variables for any one to state anything specific.

I run the one way on my zx5. It is more forgiving and for me at least, is better in the turns.

The logic is that the big guns use a standard from diff in their B44's. So it must be better.

In my humble opinion, This means very little, and comes back down to...

Personally I use a center one-way in my car, But by the usual logic thrown around its meant to be a poor choice for the type of tracks I race on , But hells bells, For me,my driving, my local track, I find it perfect.

Each different setup does require a different style of driving, Lines and braking will have to be changed to suit.

You use a oneway on the shaft with a standard diff up front?

In my SBV2 I run the standard from diff and one way bearing on the center shaft.

In my Dark Impact I have the front-one way diff.

Both (for me) are better then a standard configuration, But I wish I had gone with a center one-way on the Dark Impact.

Since I also drive a ZX-5, my advice is to use the diff on the front with one way on the center shaft to start. Front one way and spool have quick steering response but hard to control especially on moist surface.
