Hi bender. Looking at the instruction, you could only increase caster. Is that right?

Instructions are now available to download - http://www.tamiya.com/japan/download/rc_index.htm

Yeah ,that's right.

Mine is finished now. I put the driveshafts, Shocks, and belt tensioners from my 501 on it. Had to put a 2mm limiter inside the rear 501 shocks as the shock tower on the Durga is a bit shorter than the one on the 501x but otherwise everything fitted well.

I built my Durga this week. I took the universal shafts and the dampers from the 501X and changed the 3x12mm upperdeck screws to Tamiya titan crews.

I was deubuting Durga yesterday on a carpet buggy race. The car was really perfect and I took the first place. 2nd: HB-D4, 3rd: Losi XXX-4G, 4th: Academy.
While I was racing my DF03 a had no chance against them but now with the Durga I won the finals quite easily.

after seeing that the durga is actually a good race buggy with the right parts, i think im going to get one some time early 2008. once money comes back up after christmas and all. glad to hear it is a good buggy. hopefully tamiya wont screw it up or quit making parts for it. how do you think it would do an a MT/ 1/8 and 1/10 truck track? we dont race them much since not many people want to, but i would still like to drive it out there

Great!!

Was it on stock settings (Apart from those mention above) or any changes to the setting to suit carpet? I'll be racing on carpet some time next year, so looking for setup tips for carpet.

never understand you lot, you take one look, it is plastic, it is junk... man, so narrow. After racing the TA05 (plastic TRF415) for nearly two seasons, it hangs with the faster guys just as good, and is strong enough for my kids to hit everything with.

Seems this is as big a ht as the DF03 was a miss, it has 501X geometry, adjustable suspension mounts, decent diffs, stiff chassis. Ok so you need to add CVD's, but I would guess it is raceable right out the box.

no, I said the chassis is stiff, like you would get from a double deck carbon fibre chassis... not flexible. Does not come with a slipper.

Those who compare this to an Academy, I would rather have this and eat my arm off than an Academy SBv2
