I run them front and rear on hard packed smooth, and groove surface, and I find the steering very consistant, Ive run losi taper and switches back to back and found no difference at all..

I use the original switche's, they are identical to the taper pin, the new switche's (2.0's) I beelive have more of a square lug then a baby pin..

you are correct, and these square lugs are said to give more side bite as well as forward bite then the mini-pins.

personally i like 2.0s in the back 1.0s in the front (both in soft or clay)

I agree with Jake, for stock, that is most likely the best set-up. However, for 19T or Mod, I use 2.0's in front as well. All in all I think you will be happy with your purchase. Even the Panther foam aren't bad compared to the Losi foam. You might have a slight shifty rear-end with the Bomb One Greys. Especially if your running stock. For me, I use Pro-Line 2 stage in the rear. Panther has some new molded foams coming out shortly, thats what I have been using in front and experimenting in the rear. Not bad so for. Contact your LHS to see when they can get it.
