wow that thing moves! good project, i like it. if you can though, i would bias the torque to the front to make it slightly more controllable. its amazing how it just wheelies!

getting a true rc 4s2p 8000
chargin up the batteries right now
last time i ran it i lost the little screw in the pinion so i custom made a new one and used some lock tight to keep that dang think in
and also some how one of my sodders came loose and unconnected
and i raised it a bit, wasnt expecting the weight of the 12 cells
lipo will be better

Pinion set screw: Did you grind/is there a flat spot on the motor shaft? A pinion set screw will be very difficult to keep in place with out that flat spot. If it does not have a flat spot I highly suggest grinding one. The NEU motors don't have a flat spot from what I've heard. And I have no idea about the Feigao motors.

What balancer did you get? Have you decided on a battery yet? If so, what are you going with? I've been gathering info for 1/8 conversion of my 8ight. I think I'm gonna get some 5k or 6k lipos so I can also use them in my 1/10 electric cars. We're not allowed to race with them yet.....yet. This winter may change things once everyone starts practicing with lipos and the LHS realizes he is missing out on sales. LOL.
