Ok,Well i got a towerhobbied catolog in the mail today and on the front page there is the new duratrax ext ep st rtr.
It been hard to find a picture and fact's about it and what not but i found some so here they are.

This is the 1/10 scale electric powered, radio controlled, ready to run
DuraTrax Evader EXT Off-Road Stadium Truck.


FEATURES

Chassis: Composite tub
Drive: Rear wheel shaft type
Motor: Duratrax Photon Speed 2
Radio: 2-channel Tactic (made by Futaba) pistol grip 27MHz AM, with
steering and throttle trim and reverse, (transmitter does not have
charge jack) TS200 steering servo
Electronic Speed Control: Duratrax Sprint 2 with reverse and
automatic set-up
Body: Trimmed and painted stadium truck
Shocks: Oil-filled, plastic body
Gearbox: Closed rear
Differential:Adjustable ball type-operates more smoothly than gear
differentials, and provides protection for the drive train.
Tighten it up for "clean" tracks, add "slip" when the going gets
rough.
Transmission: Single speed
Slipper Clutch: Adjustable, matches power delivery to the track
surface, for better traction and speed. Protected from debris by
a cover, and has a removeable cap to easily access for adjustments.
Tires: Front, ribbed 3.8" (94.5) diameter, 2" (51mm) wide
Rear, pin spike 3.8" (94.5) diameter, 2" (51mm) wide
Wheels: Dish type nylon construction, 2.2" (56mm) diameter, 2" (51mm)
wide
Spur Gear: Nylon 88 tooth, 48 pitch
Pinion Gear: Steel 18 tooth, 48 pitch
Camber: Adjustable, camber refers to the angle of the tops of the
tires from vertical when viewed from front or behind vehicle
Caster: Adjustable, caster/toe-in refers to the angle of the front
suspension when viewed from the side of the car in relation to the
chassis
Suspension: Adjustable, includes steel turnbuckles that are
factory-set, but adjustable to various driving conditions
Steering: Bell-crank type with servo saver
Warranty Period: 90 days

I have been looking for about 20 min on the comp for a nother picture with body off etc... but the only one i found was these so that's all for now.

Its the same with a few very small changes to make it more reliable. Right?

I can't see your pics. Anywhere online like on duratrax site the ones without the body on? I know looking at the ad it looked kind of like a XXXT, but then again, that big ol Tower hobbies sticker was covering most of it.

The only major difference I can see is the plastic shocks. Can't tell from the pics if they changed anything on the chassis.

is it still a loose copy of the XXT losi truck? The body looks almost identical to the old Losi.

It looks like it'll be a stripped down (cheaper) version of the evst. Plastic shocks, sprint2, photon2, different Transmitter. I personally like plastic shocks better. It's cheap enough, I'll get one.

According to Tower's specs, it has a wheel track 2" wider. If you can believe tower specs.

Questions?? Gear Diffs ?!?!

duratrax.com website shows and indicates a bevel gear differential not a ball differential as stated in this threads' first post. The bevel gears look to be made of alloy or metal.
