I have to give credit to Traxxas. It looks like it would be fun to bash this truck.

It probably would be a good basher but it's just irritating how they keep re-doing their old vehicles instead of coming out with something new.

It would be easy to make any car water proof. All you need is a bag, zip ties, and epoxy. simply drop your electronics into the bags, zip tie them up and fill any exits with epoxy. You would be limited on the power though because of cooling issues. I supose you could simply mount a heat sink over the plastic on your esc and put a fan over it.

Default New Truck

You all need to take a look at the details of the new MAXX. It is a new truck. The only thing really retained is the name and the Titan motors. The chassis is new, quick release batt hold downs, o-ring sealed electronics box, sealed ESC (also new model), sealed diffs, rubber boots seal drive shafts, angled batt mounts to center the weight for lower CG. The real killer is the version with two Traxxas brushless motors. 50 mph and wheelies pulled at 40 mph on asphalt.

A great basher and very fast. The new ESC also features a new mode for beginners and lowers output to 50% of full throttle. Great way to get kids into sport but learn at same time.

Being able to run in dirt, mud, snow, water sounds like a blast.

So if you ever wanted to take your electronics out of the bag you would have to tear it off and then be left with epoxy and bits if bag all over your wires?? I think the sealed e-box is the way to go.

I have an ezilla and love the truck to death.

I want a brushless emax now.

Cant wait. Double brushless motors, that is insane.

HPI must be woking on something to beat traxas, so far they are behind the 8ball.

On the electric side, I dont think HPI has ever even spotted the 8 ball!!

I see this as a great basher. The extened chassis, and that good dual steering set up are going to make a world of difference.
Also great parts for those of us that do conversions. That slipper and tranny are going to work awesome in the Revo conversions - finally a ready made driveline that can handle most brushless systems. The diff's could have used a little more work though. Aluminum cups would have been nice.
