I'am looking for a new brushless motor for my HB D4.

but I don't know what wind.
I race on a clay track if it dries it gets very loose and dusty.
we partically race hole shots.

so what are your opinions?

6.5, That is what I run in my Tamiya 501x. If your track dries out the 5.5 will be too much for it.

depends on track and traction. Prolly would be better off with a 6.5R. A 5.5 might be a little to much motor.

I agree with the above 2 posts. I run a 5.5, the track I race at normally has good traction. But if the track gets loose, it's no good. The 6.5 will be fine for you, no doubt. It will be much easier to control.

I would recommend the 6.5t! I run a 6.5 in my d4 with a 20t pinion and my god it is quick, i have a 4.5 aswell but it is way to much power!
