Big News!!!

Due to ROARS updated list we have changed the stock battery limit to 4600. Pass the word!!

I am sorry that not everyone understands the reasoning behind the charging bag. To break it down in its simplest form, Our Insurance Agencey IS REQUIRING IT!!! We dont get insurance without requiring it. Its all about the C.Y.A.!!!

I just want to get this straight.

HARD CASE LIPO(ex.orion pack)= NO LIPO SACK REQUIRED?

SOFT CASE LIPO(ex. maxamps pack)= LIPO SACK REQUIRED?

This is how its stated on CRCRC.com

Looking forward to another great midwest.
Got my entry in, my room booked, working on getting my cars freshened up should be a great time.

They plan to run the 1/8 electric buggies at the electric race? Hopefully they don't tear the soft/fresh track up too much or squash the baby 1/10 cars. haha

1/8 scale electric will have separate practice times. The track will be fine also.

Big Dog, we have a group of racers coming down from Canada and we are really looking forward to the event. I have faith that based on how well the previous events have been that this one will be even better.

Tony, thank you for making the 8th scale electric class happen. This will be a great showcase for this up and coming class.

No problem Keith.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I look forward to this class growing into a well respected and recognized class. Since we are the pioneers in this new class, we'll actually be the ones to help fine tune it into the class we want. Also since we are at the fore-front we'll be able to help direct the Mfg's into producing what we want (motors, ESC's, batteries, etc). I don't think that's happened with other classes and I'm sure the Mfg's would rather have some direction rather than produce products that could go extinct.

As for these 1/8th scale cars tearing up the track for the 1/0th guys, I don't think it'll be an issue. The track surface will work well for both and the guys at CRCRC do a great job on building and maintaining the surfaces. It's when you slap a clutch on a .21 or bigger nitro motor do you see these cars really tear up the surface.

See you all in Columbus!
