Looks like they had another radio in mind when they made this one.

People use to say the same thing about the 3pk.Doesn't look like anything available{at the time} and it ended up being one of the best selling radios, and now is being used by alot of the same people who thought it looked funny before.

I'm still gonna buy one, ugly as hell but when I show up at the track they won't know what I'm using.

I can see some similarities to the newer radios. Also keep in mind, often times the "Prototypes" don't always end up looking like the final product.

Im a Futaba guy and I still run the 3PJS, and love it. Its Comfortable, well balanced and fairly easy to use. Considered getting the 3PK, but didn't want to spend the $$.

Now that I am looking to get back into racing, I was looking at the Nomadio, and the 3XDR. That 3XDR really does look sexy. We'll see if the pocketbook can support it. Might just stick to my 3pjs for a while.

I still love my 3PK. I see no reason to change.

looks a bit like one of the spread rectums. looks nicely balanced but it'd be nice if u can drop the wheel just like on the 3pk.
