Well Ryan Maifield ran a 3s lipo and a Sphere, in the BL, Lipo class at the mod nats. of corse in the BL, Lipo 20 min main class, so it should work fine.

Huh? I'm sorry if he did that in the race, he should have been disqualified. The rules according to The thread by Dawn Sanchez, In this forum, only 2s were allowed and unlimited mah, Not unlimited in series. Besides, even Maifield, couldn't handle a 3s powered car in dirt. Also, if he was runing a 6.5 or down, It would have blown apart in a 20 minute race

I wouldn't, 3S is for bashing, For racing its uncontrollable. The LRP's are rated for 6 cells or 2s LIPO, I'd give you a 50/50 chance of blowing the esc, at plug in, and a 70% certainty of burning out the motor on the first pack. I wouldn't do it

well theres my answer. this wouldnt be for racing, mostly bashing, and i would still use my nimh for racing. i guess i will get a 2s then too because i can do that for under $80 with a good maxamps. and that will save me from buying 2 or 3 new nimh batts. thanks man
