XXX4 Gearing

Default XXX4 Gearing

Anyone know what gearing to run on a medium size, track running a trinity Monster.

Not sure if the XXX4 instruction manual includes it, but the old Losi manuals would give suggested gearing for their cars, see if yours has anything like that, it is a good starting point.

I haven't ran a stock motor in my XXX-4 a lot. But seems the fews times I did I was geared about a 92/23 or 22. I would start with a 22 pinion and go from there.

If its the Revenge then you might try 18/92. If its the original then I agree with Johnb... try a 22... Have fun

18/92..Thats what I run with a 10x1,I think I would run 22/92,and run trinity red springs on the motor.

what pitch is that 22 pinion...I am using 22 with 48 pitch..is it ok? you guys know where can I downlaod the manual for this buggy?
