Has anyone tried the Mamba Max ESC. with 5 cells or know if it will work or not.

I use my 5700 with 5-cell 3600s and 4200s and it is a good combo, I dont really notice less power or less run time compared to 6-cell.

I run pro mod with my B4 running the 7700kv on 5 cells and its the fastest car on the track. I love it and if I ever have a cell go bad in a pack I always have extra cells to replace it.

Whats up Bobby? Its Chris, checking in from the other side of the planet. when I read your post, I was thinking "Bobby runs 5 cells with a 7700" and then I looked at your user ID. Its true his B4 is the fastest one at the track even on 5 cells.

when the track is hooked up, it dose the best R/C car wheeles I have ever seen. Just enough power to bring up the front tires but it ususally will not loopout by the end of the straightaway. So sick........

I'm planning to try my T4/5700 on 5 cells at an indoor race in a couple weeks. On my older IB4200 6 cell packs it likes to lift the front end a lot... I think 5 cells will be good even on the 5700.

We tried both the GTB w/ 6.5 5cell and MM 7700 on 5 cell both worked pretty good. Did not notice a power loss in 7 min mains, on the GTB but my brother said the MM 7700 fell off. Could have been just the batteries we used.
